Prize of the Pontifical Academies 2015

On 10 November 2015 the Public Session of the Pontifical Academies during which the prize winners are announced.

On 21 January 2015 the Pontifical Roman Academy of Archaeology and the Pontifical Academy “Cultorum Martyrum” announced the Competition for THE PRIZE of the PONTIFICAL ACADEMIES 2015.

As foreseen by the Prize Regulations, in agreement with the Pontifical Council for Culture, the Pontifical Roman Academy of Archaeology and the Pontifical Academy “Cultorum Martyrum” announce the Competition for the Prize of the Pontifical Academies 2015 (an award of 20,000 Euros), awarded by the Holy Father during the annual Public Session of the Pontifical Academies.

The competition is open to religious or lay institutions and young scholars whose research or activity contributes significantly to the development of the historical religious sciences and Christian humanism.

The works proposed must have as their area of research Archaeology, Church History and the Cult of the Martyrs.
